Current interpretation seems to be a combo heavy character who gains resources based on the amount of Adrenaline he consumes and from successfully countering/dodging enemy attacks. This resource puts him in a state that enhances his attacks (and increases his Sheer Force?) and the resources decrease over time.
Speculation from me here, maybe requires a lot of management to keep his resources up to keep him in his Enhanced State otherwise bad management will result in him leaving the state and needing to recharge again.
